Sun now require support agreement for critical updates

I guess I'll put Solaris aside now that Sun/Oracle has decided that you should pay for even the most basic security related patches. Previously Sun has a fairly understanding policy where you could download critical patches for old systems that you 'had to keep running'

So long Solaris, it was nice while it lasted. Perhaps OpenSolaris will do better, if Oracle doesn't squeeze the life out of it as well.
